Well, if you picked Tim Clark this week, it’s not too late to change your pick… He just won the Par 3 Tournament. There has never been a player who has won the Par 3 and the big show in the same weekend. Clark finished -5 with an ace mixed in.  Jack Newman and Jose Maria Olazabal finished T2/-3.

But, let me ask you this. Should you maybe change your pick to Tim Clark? He has played some solid golf at Augusta making the cut in four of eight appearances. His best finish was in 2006 when he finished second to Tiger Woods. His scoring average in the Masters is a little high at 73.25, but it is the Masters. And he did miss the cut last year. Do think Tim Clark will be the first player ever to win both events in the same weekend?

There were some pretty awesome shots Wednesday. There were four aces yesterday from Norman, Player, Clark, and Merrick. Nick Faldo provided some laughs when he putted his ball away from the hole, up the incline, and let it run back down into the hole. I was waiting for him to quote Happy Gilmore, “I saw it go up, but did it come back down?”. Then he also hit a putt, then ran in front of it and used his putter like it was a brush for curling. Entertaining to say the least.

Other scores:

Aaron Baddeley, Greg Norman, Fred Couples, Mike Weir, Nick Watney: -2/T4

Gary Player: -1/T18

Luke Donald, Stewart Cink,  E/T21
