Neck. The answer is neck, you pervs. To be specific it’s an inflamed facet joint in his neck. He suffered the injury on his hiatus, but it is considered treatable. Tiger will be receiving massage treatment and taking anti defamatory inflammatory pills (aka Viccodin and Ambien) in hopes of a speedy rehab. A full recovery is expected, but a return date is yet to be announced. Tiger has stated that he does plan on traveling to Augusta North, The Memorial Tournament in Dublin, OH. This is a tournament that Tiger won last year by one stroke over Jim Furyk.

I’m pretty curious about how he is going to play in his second return to golf this year. But this time with a new swing coach. There has been a lot of uncertainty in Tigers life since his “accident” late last year. In his return to competitive golf he finished T4 at the Masters. It wasn’t the best performance of his career, but a return at THE  Masters and finishing T4 is pretty incredible. He followed it up with a big fat CUT at Quail Hollow and a real nasty W/D at the Players. After his much anticipated return to the Tour, Tiger’s good luck has since run out. Hopefully a new swing coach will help jumpstart his quest to beat Jack’s record.
