Ben Hogan is the man. That is all.
/didn’t we do the same thing last week?
First up, Mr. Last Place Who Picked Ryan Fucking Palmer:
I should be all over Mickletits here, but I’m going with Ben Crane instead. Ben provides the consistantcy that someone in my position (4th place) requires to jumpstart a gradual rebound. He’s top 10 in ball striking, an excellent scrambler, has two previous Top-5s at Colonial, and is T-3rd on Tour with four Top-10s – including a win – this year. But most importantly, he’s not Ryan Palmer.
I’m taking Ian Poulter. Why? Because if the winner of the tournament receives a plaid jacket, you know Poulter will pull out all the stops with his Sunday wardrobe. Oh and he’s a pretty good golfer. He’s finished 9th and 15th in previous appearances at Colonial. Poulter’s made the cut in 4 of 6 tournaments this year with one win, two top 20 finishes, and three top 25 finishes.
The Honorable, Magnificent, Splendiferous spencer096:
Kenny Perry will win this thing. How do I know that? I don’t know. It’s been a rough season for everyone’s favorite Kentuckian (aside from Raylan Givens, of course), but the ship looks to be getting righted, and what better place to break through in the 2010 season than a place he’s won at twice? KP played well this week in Dallas, but fell apart on Sunday…methinks that’ll be the something that inspires him to crush fools.
Well since you all just left him sitting there, I’m taking Mickelson. He has a phenomenal track record at this event, and if he wins this week, I think we can turn out the lights, cuz this pick ’em party will be over.
- Lefty – 2
- spencer096 – 52
- Schneider – 114
- The retard who took Ryan Palmer – 122
- Jeev’d – 132
Again…just to explain how this works. You get whatever the pick’s finish is…2 points for 2nd, etc. You get negative 10 points for a win and 100 points for a missed cut. Low score wins.
Oh, and Lefty is full of shit.
