Zach Johnson won the 2010 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial this past weekend in record fashion. He posted a record low score of -21 and won by 3 strokes over Brian Davis. Johnson won despite two late weather delays on the final day of the tournament and now has a plaid jacket to go with that green one. This is the seventh victory on the PGA Tour for Johnson and with the win he collected a cool $1.116 million.

I gotta admit I didn’t watch a ton of this tournament. It was on in the background as I moved all fucking weekend. It blew donkey because it was absolutely beautiful all weekend and the closest I came to playing golf was hitting the range yesterday. And to make matters worse, some douche who thought he knew something about golf was trying to give lessons to some other douche in the next stall over. I kept hearing the lame advice teacher douche was giving to pupil douche and it was messing my world up.

Brian Davis had the lead after seven holes on Sunday, but choked it away. Was it because of a two stroke self-imposed penalty in a playoff hole to Jim Furky? No. This time, he failed to make a birdie after said seventh hole. Bryce Moulder was the leader after Friday and Saturday, but ended up finishing T5 with a Sunday 70.

Some other notable finishes:

-My boy Boo Weekley: 9th/-14.
-Captain Corey: T7/-15.
-The crunchy Fijian Vijay Singh: T33/-9.
-Lucas Glover: T44/-7

It was a nice bounce back performance by From the Tips. After selecting Ryan Palmer and his woeful performance last week, he decided to pass on Mickelson and take Ben Crane. At first glance it was I wanted to come up with some smarmy comment to use in the recap. At second glance, Mickelson missed the cut and Ben Crane finished T3, -17. No smarmy joke here. Lefty took him instead. (insert smarmy joke here)

Poulter: 76, +7

Jeev: CUT

Crane: T3, -17
