Hitting the Links: RIP Seve

I woke up Saturday morning to hear the bad news of Seve Ballesteros’ passing. There is going to be a lot of Seve talk for the next few days and hopefully I’ll get some thoughts together  from the Tuna guys. But, there will be a ton of Seve in todays links, so I’m just going to put the title of the article with the link.

Ended making it to Stonewater this weekend with Mr. 096 and another friend. Weather was amazing and go figure, I wake up today to see 65 and sunny. First email of the day to Spencer… “Ugh, fuck this. Let’s go golfing”.  Shot 84 and am ecstatic. Then Mr. 096 and I decided to wake up butt-ass early Sunday morning and get a round of 18 in before the Mother’s Day festivities began.  We teed off at Fowler’s Mill at 7:18 and finished up by 11:15. I wish every round could be played that quickly.

What’s new this week? Well, I’m going to try to stop chewing tobacco and start P90X (again) today. It’s gonna be an interesting time in Real AC land, but it’s all for the better. I know I’m going to end up only getting like 3-6 weeks through P90X before we give up on it (again). Hopefully, the no dip thing works out better… Anyway enough from me. Enjoy the Monday reading.

Thank God it’s Friday. It’s been along week for this guy. Today I’m getting my windshield replaced on my car. It’s only like 6 months over due, but hey better late than never. I’m so sick of this god-damned weather. Everyday the chances of rain changes. Monday 20%, Wednesday 40%, Friday 50%. Am I asking too much? Is some sunshine out of the question? Hitting the Links: Please Let Me Golf This Weekend

Trying to play a course called Stonewater this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me. The theme of the year has been wet and I’m hoping to buck the trend. I think I’ve played like 4-6 rounds so far this year and only one of said rounds has been dry. I love Ohio and all, but this needs to change. Southern Ohio is all blooming and warm, but we’re still gray and gloomy in Northeast Ohio. Sweet.

Tuna Exclusive: Tiger is Hurt (Again)

Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. The injury is a ligament sprain in his left knee and a mild strain of his Achilles tendon in the same leg. This is the famous left leg that Tiger has had operated on four times previously, most recently after the 2008 US Open at Torry Pines.

In a statement released on his website:

Woods suffered a Grade 1 mild medial collateral ligament sprain to his left knee and a mild strain to his left Achilles tendon… Woods was able to continue playing at Augusta and then later decided to seek a medical evaluation.
